How long does it take to get a new passport?+
Standard processing typically takes 10–14 business days from the date of biometrics capture. During peak periods (December holidays, school breaks), it may take slightly longer. Express processing options may be available for urgent cases — we'll advise on current timelines when you consult us.
What documents do I need for a new passport?+
For a new adult passport, you'll typically need your National ID card, birth certificate, two passport-size photos on white background, KRA PIN certificate, and the completed eCitizen application. For children, you'll also need parental consent forms, parents' IDs and passports, and the child's birth certificate. We provide a detailed, customized checklist.
Can you help me register on eCitizen?+
Yes! This is one of our core services. We handle the entire eCitizen registration (if you don't already have an account), fill in the passport application form accurately, upload all required documents, and process the government payment — all on your behalf.
How much does a Kenyan passport cost?+
The government fee for a standard 34-page passport is KES 4,550, and a 50-page passport (jumbo) is KES 6,050. The East African e-Passport costs KES 4,550. These fees are paid through eCitizen. Our service fee for processing assistance is separate and quoted based on the service level you need.
Can I get an express or urgent passport?+
Express processing availability depends on the Immigration Department's current policies. When available, we assist with expedited applications that can reduce processing time. For emergency travel, we can also help you apply for an Emergency Travel Document (ETD) which is issued quickly for verified urgent travel needs.
What if I lost my passport?+
For lost passports, you'll need a police abstract (OB number) from your nearest police station, a signed affidavit declaring the loss, and a new passport application. We guide you through obtaining both documents and file a complete replacement application with all supporting paperwork.
Do I need to visit immigration myself?+
Yes, you'll need to visit an immigration office in person for the biometrics capture (fingerprints and photo). This is a government requirement that cannot be done by proxy. However, we handle everything else — application, documents, payment, and appointment booking — so your visit is quick and smooth. We also brief you on exactly what to expect.
